A man once came to me with a panic, and a worn torn vintage wallet photo of his long gone mother. The photo was torn across the top below this lady's hairline. It was the last and only picture he had of his mother. Probably the photo was taken in the late fifties early sixties. He was hoping I could make for him a painting to remember her by.
