Documentary

I am starting a small documentary on painting on the trail. I will be painting a portrait and a landscape. Soon I will post pictures of my exploits down there. I will also. Write at nauseam about my experiences. May all good things come to all good people. Beauty is in everything.

Well i started two paintings yesterday and I got tons of footage. I say tons, but that really equals about seven minutes worth. I got to see lots of great people on the trail yesterday it was a very good. I think I may be having three or four showings in the next few months. One of the locations may be good for screen the doc.

Storms blew by yesterday, Early morning very light sprinkles. The day turned out to be fine. I moved under the ramp proper in case of rain and got much work done. I was getting many compliments on my new landscape. It is completely raw and just in the underpainting stage but it has at this point a very water color look. I may start to do some water color type painting acrylic on paper. I will be doing more still shots for the dicumentary and do kind of a slide show of the progress. i am having a problem with people talking over me when I am trying to video record.

Today is a great looking day. i am heading to the trail for all day painting. Yesterday I worked on the bathing beauty painting. she is a gorgeous girl in an old fahion swimsuit satnding on a rock infront of a rushing swirling whirpool. I am getting ideas for social and eco commenatry paintings. Ideas such as consumerism. materialism and depletion of natural resources. May all your wishes be granted. love peace and happiness.

Oh by the way i have a stalker on the trail.

I think my trail days are numbered.

Art should be an organic expression of thought unincumbered by mores. one should have freedom of choice freedom of thought. Einstein belived that "imagination was more important than knowledge". i guess because all knowledge is in a ledger of some sort know-ledge.

Well it has been an interseting few days on the town lake hike and Bike trail here in Austin Texas.
i have not been able to get as much work done on my paintings as i would like. I have been getting visits from a seemingly disturbed mexican national man. he seems to be very angry and is making sure i know it. He carries a couple of wooden clubs in his bags. He looms about and likes to stand within inches of me as he talks incoherentley in spanish. He leaves and returns shortly. I sent a group e-mail to lots of friends reminding them that it is propbably not a very good idea to run on the trail during dark hours.I know that i will be leaving the trail much earlier from now on. maybe it is the spring weather , but there are more and more off balanced people walking about out there.
I will continue with documentary today.

Well it was s fruitful day. Made lots of headway on the Blanco River (painting that is)
I think I will be done painting and shooting the final progress scenes proper. I am exhausted. I know the meaning of the term bone weary as I feel it down to me timbers. I met a beautiful model with the foed agency in New York on Sunday. She was very nice and of course great looking. I will paint her portrait in the near future. I keep meeting people from New York and Chicago and Los Angeles. It keeps reinforcing my wunderlust. I am glad i started this blog it is a great outlet for rambling on and on. I will soon start a treatease on my take on art, galleries, modern painters. When i get a chance i will start to add pictures to this here blog. I am also starting a line of printed erotica editions . I want to form an art group called The Texas three or T3 for short. I have two artists in mind. just an informal affiliation of like minded painters. I also would like to start a new painting called Guns Sex drugs and money or GSDM. In the vein of an iconographic like "In Life Luck"

Fairly uneventful day on the trail. Akthough I was able to video a little blurb from my freind Cy. He is a long time austinite who is rich with stories from the past. I would like to record him and let him rip from the 30s to now.

Continued work on the Texas Swimsuit Bathing Beauty on the Pedernales River. I will be creating new post card with my mug on them to try to create facila awareness.

Well I spent all morning looking for a 36 inch by 48 inch canvas. I hate it when I make a special trip to a store and they do not have what you need.
